  • ❄️ Night Ski Party ft Peking Duk – Coronet Peak 

    You’re invited to the biggest night ski bash of the season, headlined by Aussie electronic duo Peking Duk live on the mountain. Wednesday 23 July, 4pm – 9pm. Free to attend (skiers will need a night pass). Dance under the stars and neon lights!

  • 🎸 The Superjesus – Yonder 

    Aussie rock legends The Superjesus hit Queenstown on their NZ tour, blasting out ’90s classics and fresh hits. Led by powerhouse frontwoman Sarah McLeod, this will be a high-energy night of rock nostalgia. Saturday 19 July, 7:30pm. Tickets $44.20 (R18). Get ready to head-bang downtown.

  • ⛷️ Outside Sports x Remarkables Ski Demo Day – Remarkables Ski Field

    Test the latest skis and eyewear from Atomic, Faction, Rossignol and more at this massive on-snow demo day. Wednesday 23 July, 9am – 3:30pm. Free with lift pass. All levels welcome, just look for the flags near Curvey Basin Chair and try before you buy.

  • 🍷 Green Drinks: Sustainable Wine Tour – Departing Frankton

    Sip sustainably on this eco‑friendly wine tour hosted by Sustainable Queenstown. Thursday 17 July, 5:30pm – 9:00pm. Tickets $25. Includes return EV transport, tastings at Amisfield and Mount Edward, and winemaker chats. Limited spaces. The cosiest winter wine night with a conscience.

  • 💍 Miraculous Engagement Ring Recovery on Crown Range

    A bride to be has been reunited with her lost engagement ring 10 days after it slipped off in the snow atop the Crown Range. Thanks to a dedicated Arrowtown local and a metal detector, the ring was found buried under ice, restoring joy, sparkle and faith in small town heroics.

  • 🚲 New Buckler Burn Trail Debuts in Glenorchy

    A new trail and bridge now link Glenorchy township to the Whakaari Conservation Area, improving safety and access for over 10,000 annual visitors. Funded by a $220,000 grant, the trail supports walking, cycling and wheelchair use. It is the largest infrastructure investment ever made by the Glenorchy Trails Trust.
